Jan 14, 2009 - “Working together for a healthier tomorrow” – joint statement by the UK Rehabilitation Council (UKRC) and Vocational Rehabilitation Association (VRA)
UKRC and VRA welcome the recent government paper “Working together for a healthier tomorrow, a review by Dame Carol Black”, and especially its commitment to vocational rehabilitation. Whilst we strongly support the document’s overall aims, we would like to clear up confusion about the respective roles of the UKRC and VRA that appears in the government response. In particular the Vocation Rehabilitation Council (referred to on page 109 of response below) does not exist.
